KeepItPassive is inventory-management software for resellers. This page says what it keeps about you and your stores, and what it does not.
What we store
- Your inventory. Products, quantities, bins, costs, prices and the photos you take of your items. This is your data; it exists so the software can do its job.
- Marketplace connections. When you connect a store (for example eBay), the marketplace gives us an access token for your account. We store that token encrypted on the platform that runs your workspace and use it only to read your listings and orders and to make the changes you ask for (quantities, prices, new listings, shipping). We never see or store your marketplace password.
- Orders and buyers. Order details the marketplace sends us, including the buyer's name and shipping address, so labels and packing slips can be printed. We do not use buyer details for anything else and we do not sell or share them.
- Billing, when enabled. Paid plans are not switched on yet. When they are, Paddle sells KeepItPassive subscriptions as merchant of record and takes the payment. We send your billing email and a workspace reference to Paddle, and we keep the customer, transaction and subscription references Paddle returns plus your subscription status. Card details are entered with Paddle; KeepItPassive does not see or store card numbers.
- Your sign-in. A session cookie so the app knows it is you. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data. Service providers process the information needed to deliver the features you use.
- We do not publish, change or end a marketplace listing unless you took the action that does it.
- We do not train models on your inventory or your buyers' details.
Where it lives
Your workspace runs on infrastructure operated by KeepItPassive; the web app is served through Cloudflare. Photos you take for research are read once and not kept.
Disconnecting and deleting
Disconnect a store from the Connections page at any time; syncing stops immediately and the token is marked revoked. You can also revoke KeepItPassive from the marketplace's own account settings.
The workspace owner can close the workspace from the Account page. Closing asks for the owner's password and takes effect at once: everyone is signed out and nobody can sign back in. Closing does not delete anything that day — your data is kept for 30 days so you can change your mind, and is deleted after that. Take your export first: the Account page gives you one file with your products, stock, bins, listings and orders. If you are not the owner, ask them, or write to us.
Marketplace terms
Data read from a marketplace stays subject to that marketplace's own policies (for eBay, the eBay API License Agreement and eBay's privacy policy). We only request the permissions the features you use need.
